Variable Speed Drives (VSDs) / Inverters training

VSDs or Inverters are widely used in industry to control motor speed.  Courses are available covering both AC & DC Drives.

The demand for training centres around maintenance people who need to have an understanding of the hardware involved, safe working, how the VSD controls the motor, the range of parameters that affect motor performance, an understanding of typical faults & likely symptoms with coverage of error codes & their interpretation.  The courses deal with methods for localising problems & VSD replace & reload procedures.

A generic course is available which covers the fundamental principles that can  be applied to a range of commonly used Drives.  Attendance on this course (or equivalent practical experience), is a prerequisite for any of our manufacturer-specific Drives courses.
